Manual operation with Cabled Control Unit (control bulb)
Each tower can be operated manually using the manual control unit (control bulb).
Caution: The control bulb may only be operated by trained specialist staff. Incorrect handling may result in serious injury due to trapping.
Caution: Before using the manual control unit control bulb, the V-Locker AG support hotline must be informed of the work to be carried out: +800 8600 0068. It is essential that you discuss the work with the support hotline. A technician will assist you with your work if required.
Remove the control bulb from the Grey case. This case may be stored in different places, depending of your facility.
Open the flap of the control cabinet with the chained key (EMKA). The control cabinet is located under the overhead canopy.
Connect the control bulb to the control unit in the slot provided (Fig. 1). Ensure that the plug is inserted the right way round.

The system is now in maintenance mode. The emergency stop function acts on the chain drive and can be triggered at any time.
The lights in the canopy are switched on in maintenance mode.

The doors to the boxes can be opened and closed using the "Open doors" and "Close doors" buttons (Fig. 2). After opening, you have access to the paternoster shaft with the bike boxes.
Use the "Turn left" and "Turn right" buttons to move the chain to the left or right (Fig. 2).
Caution: Do not reach into the rotating system under any circumstances! Wait until the desired box appears in front of the entrance.
The doors must be closed again after the work has been completed.
Remove the control bulb from the plug-in socket.
If the emergency stop button has been pressed, the flashing/illuminated "R" (reset) button must be pressed after unlocking.
Inform the support hotline that the work has been completed. Ask the support team to open and close a box. This will ensure that the system is back to normal.
Close the flap of the switch cabinet with the key (EMKA).
Return the control bulb to the case in the intermediate aisle.
